Can't wait to hear about your school plans! In De Smet, I saw these cool books that would be perfect for a homeschool unit on the "Little House" books. Makes me want to homeschool!!! But I know that's not why one homeschools, for the the cool resources out there =) Anyway, they are called "Portals to Reading." And here is one from another source: http://www.perfectionlearning.com/search.php?type=title&query=little+house+in+the+big+woods. For the second source, I think you just type in the title you're looking for, like "Little House on the Prairie," and it comes up if they offer it ...
We won't be at Irish Fair this year. Anna is bummed, and so am I ... It's so much fun! But we planned a trip that weekend without realizing it was Irish Fair. We have noted to ourselves that next summer we will check the dates of Irish Fair BEFORE planning any vacations =)
