I had to drop in one more time real quick -- I've been meaning to post this for a while and thought I would do it while I was thinking about it again.
I normally don't post on political subjects, so I'll keep the commentary to a minimum. All I have to say is: I love this billboard. It makes me chuckle every time I see it on the way home from my sister's house.
Enough said. Read more about it, here and here.
I have seen this, too, and got a kick out of it =)
ReplyDeleteTo reply to your comment on my blog ... Ha! I do know what you mean, Michelle, about being overwhelmed. But yesterday was a very good exercise for me, because there's just no time to over-analyze anything. If you have a budget, that automatically limits some of your decisions. (You don't have all the choices in the world if you're trying to stay within a certain price-point.) You will have priorities, too. Quality windows may be more important to you than higher-end counter tops, or vice versa. Maximizing square footage was very important to us. So, if that meant we would have to get less-expensive floors and replace them down the road, then that was OK with us. Budget + priorities definitely help in the decision-making process ... And you typically make these decisions well in advance of those things being done to your home, so there is time to change your mind or shop around. But it's good to know what you like and don't like, too ... It's totally crazy, but I'm learning along the way. If you decide to build, by then, I'm sure we'll have a lot of good advice for you =)
Have a great weekend! Enjoy the conference!
